WHY IS THERE GLOBAL WARMING?

The Earth is surrounded by a layer

of gases. This layer is our

atmosphere – the air we breathe.

We need air to live.

When the sun shines on Earth,

Earth gets warmer. The

atmosphere traps some of the

heat.

This is a good thing because we

also need warmth to live.
